Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ8:45 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (714) 259-0861. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lunarossatustin.com.

Hereβs a polished Google review you can post: Had a wonderful experience at Luna Rosa Italian Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and every entrΓ©e we tried was full of flavor. What really made the evening memorable was the excellent customer service. Our server made the experience so fun by encouraging us to pronounce each entrΓ©e in French β or at least give it our best try! It created such a welcoming and lighthearted atmosphere. The staff was kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. I would definitely recommend Luna Rosa to anyone looking for great food and a fun dining experience!

It was about 14:35 when we entered and only one other couple was there. As they were on the patio, we sat indoors. Very nice atmosphere. The staff was fantastic and we conversed about Italy and truffles. The server was very attentive and we enjoyed his charm. It looked like a full bar. There was a lunch special option that I ordered ( rigatoni with meat sauce) it. It was very good with just the right noodle texture. No rush, just enjoyed the time. I recommend it.

Honestly one of the most disappointing dining experiences Iβve had. We waited almost 20 minutes without even getting a glass of water, while the restaurant only had around three tables occupied. Service felt extremely disorganized from the beginning. What shocked us more was that we never ordered one of the pastas, yet it was still brought to our table and we were expected to pay for it anyway. In total, two people spent around $120 and still left hungry. The pizza was incredibly bland β almost no flavor at all. The lasagna was so hard that I could barely bite through it (and Iβm only 20β¦). To make things worse, when all the food finally arrived, we still didnβt even have utensils. I guess the restaurant wanted us to return to the most primitive way of eating food with our hands. Very overpriced for the quality and service. Definitely would not come back.

Luna Rossa in Tustin offers a solid Italian dining experience with good food and attentive service. We tried the penne pesto, rigatoni alla vodka, penne arrabbiata, and pizza. The pastas were flavorful, well-cooked, and nicely balanced, especially the pesto and vodka sauce, which stood out. The pizza was decent, though it came with Kalamata olives instead of regular olives, which slightly changed the expected flavor. Aside from that small detail, everything else was pretty good, and the service was friendly and efficient, making for an enjoyable overall experience.
